Welcome to dialogue! Inspired by historical art salons, we challenge conventional narratives with a punk-like attitude, persistently delving beneath the surface of our image-saturated world. Our program evolves organically, driven by the needs of our artists and the unique constellations of collaboration that arise.

Born from an initial project—dialogue #01, which examined the relationship between movement and sculpture through an interdisciplinary exchange—presented during ARCO Lisbon 2023 in Adriana Barreto's studio in Marvila, dialogue has organically evolved into a vibrant artistic environment. Currently, we represent ten emerging and established Portuguese and international artists, alongside guest collaborators, fostering inclusivity and dynamism.

As an architect, the concept of movement in space is intrinsic to my thinking. As a spectator, I remained captivated by a pivotal moment—witnessing Dialoge 09 by Sasha Waltz & Guests during the opening of David Chipperfield's Neues Museum in Berlin in 2009. Reflecting now, I see how that experience subtly yet profoundly inspired my vision for dialogue gallery, shaping a mission to explore the intersections of creativity.

Rooted in the creative process, dialogue values the journey of creating, making, performing, and displaying art. In an increasingly digital world, the gallery offers a sanctuary for authentic, face-to-face engagement, where lasting relationships and fresh collaborations thrive.
