Jordi Burch was born in Barcelona in 1979, he moved to Portugal in 1981. He studied photography at Ar.Co – Center for Art and Visual Communication in Lisbon. In 2008, he began living between São Paulo and Lisbon.
Among his most recent activities are the exhibitions “neighbourhood” at the Venice Architecture Biennale and the Belém Cultural Center (Lisbon), “as durações do rasto” at the Iberê Camargo Foundation, Brazil, “furo” at the Janaina Torres Gallery in São Paulo, and “como coisa real por fora, como coisa real por dentro” at the Salgadeiras Gallery in Lisbon.
In 2018, he published the book “como está o início depois do fim?” by Tinta da China publisher.
