Umbigo #95 foi desenvolvida em cocuradoria com a Secção Cultural da Embaixada de Espanha em Portugal em torno do tema Fronte(i)ras. O auditório da Fundação PLMJ recebe vários artistas que participaram nesta edição
A apresentação da revista contará com a presença de João Silvério, Fundação PLMJ, equipa Umbigo, Luis Prados (adido cultural da Embaixada de Espanha em Portugal), bem como dos autores e artistas Josseline Black, Manuel Botelho, P. Manuel Cardoso SJ (Brotéria), Mirna Bamieh, Rafaela Cardeal (projeto LatimLove) e Uriel Orlow.
O tema Fronte(i)ras inaugura o plano editorial de 2026 da Umbigo. Em cocuradoria com Luis Prados e Claudio Hontana Muñoz da Secção Cultural da Embaixada de Espanha em Portugal, o número 95 olha para o conceito abstrato de fronteira para investigar porosidades, contaminações, práticas de boa-vizinhança e transgressões histórica e culturalmente inerentes a zonas de transição e de administração.

Umbigo #95 was developed in collaboration with the Cultural Section of the Spanish Embassy in Portugal, centered on the theme “Fronte(i)ras.” The PLMJ Foundation auditorium will host several artists who participated in this edition
The magazine’s presentation will be attended by João Silvério, the PLMJ Foundation, the Umbigo team, Luis Prados (cultural attaché at the Spanish Embassy in Portugal), as well as the authors and artists Josseline Black, Manuel Botelho, P. Manuel Cardoso SJ (Brotéria), Mirna Bamieh, Rafaela Cardeal (LatimLove project), and Uriel Orlow.
The theme “Fronte(i)ras” kicks off Umbigo’s 2026 editorial plan. Co-curated by Luis Prados and Claudio Hontana Muñoz of the Cultural Section of the Spanish Embassy in Portugal, issue 95 examines the abstract concept of the border to explore the porosity, cross-pollination, good-neighborly practices, and historical and cultural transgressions inherent in zones of transition and administration.
